Thank you all.... That's a Wrap!

Well, the pipes did call! Last week plumbers came, saw and roughed in! Within no time at all, the lads had packed up and left leaving pipework that would make a urologist proud!

As you can see above, yes that is a duct! No sooner had the plumbers left, the heating/cooling peeps rocked up and put in all the ducting for the heating and cooling system. The chippies were also back to finish up the frame and get the rest of the windows in.

Impressive... most impressive! All we needed to get a great look at where we were at was for the scaffold to come down.... wait...what the?

Just like a beautiful unwrapped gift! Then you get told off for opening presents too early so time to wrap it up and put it back under the tree.

Mmmmmmm Christmas green!

Balcony pillars are in and the whole place is really starting to take shape. Hebel cladding is due to start later this week. We can't believe how fast the project is going... but if that bird taints our new gutter I will hunt it down teach it some respect!

  2. Hi Steve, I found yoru blog on HomeOne. It looks like the construction is going well. It's great to see the structure there.

I run a site called BuilderReview which allows people to review builders and rate their experience with them - http://www.builderreview.com.au

Once you are ready feel free to rate your experience with Porter Davis here:

    I'd really appreciate it.

I'm excited to see your home complete. Good luck with the rest of your build and I'll check in from time to time to follow your progress.

    Cheers,
    Alaister

  3. Hi Steve,

One other thing - I've just created a Builder Blog section on my site where people can create their own thread to document their building journey. Would you be interested in creating a thread for the remainder of your building journey? You'd be the first person to create a Builder Blog. I'd really appreciate it.

    Thank you
